An interesting photo taken in 1961 by West Berlin side. It shows three enlisted men of the People's Police in the raincoat with cap. The weather coats were worn over the normal working uniform, in certain weather conditions. There were up to 1990 different models, which differed in some details. The piece shown here is a production of 1960.Dieser jacket still has the older version of the buttons without smooth boundary.
In addition, the candidate was already in 1960 introduced new belt buckle with East German sovereignty emblem. On his cap is still the black / red / gold - to find shield of arms. At his service jacket no bright green piping remain.
